| Trawick, Nancy Galloway | 1820 | Nancy Galloway Trawick was the daughter of William Galloway, a planter of considerable note of Henry County. She was a native of South Carolina and came to Alabama when very small. She grew up in Henry County with such advantages for securing an education as the schools of that county afforded which were then extremely meager. She married George N. Trawick in her sixteenth year, and they had ten children including Thomas A. Trawick. Nancy was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. She died in 1850. | Memorial Record of Alabama, Volume 1, Page 1123. |
