1818-1820
Immigrated and settled in Henry County in 1818, 1819, or 1820. Son of Daniel Pynes and brother of James, Benj., and Fair Pynes. The Henry County Register, August 1, 1873.
Pynes, White 9/1/1852 Awarded 40 acres in Henry County (now Houston) for his service as a private in Captain Booth's Company, Alabama Volunteers during the Creek War. Bureau of Land Management, General Land Office Records
Pynes, White 4/17/1858 White Pynes along with his siblings Benjamin Pynes, Fair Pynes (deceased), James Pynes, Nancy Dees (deceased) wife of Hamilton Dees, and Mary Johnson (deceased) wife of Alexander Johnson are identified as children of Daniel Pynes in the final distribution of Daniel's estate. Henry County, Alabama Orphans Court Record Book J , pages 508-513 (FHL microfilm # 1288514 ). From a transcription compliments of Sue Woodford.

White Pynes was born in 1811, he migrated to Henry County Al with his parents Daniel Pynes and Rutha Knotts Pynes. He married Sarah Gilmore Lewis Aug 26, 1836. They were parents of : Hamilton DeCalb , James Jackson(Melissa Martin), Mary Jane (McAnulty), Ruth E (Baxter).,Lewis White, Louisiana F. Sarah Eveline (Rhodes) Pynes. Hamilton and Lewis were killed in the Civil War.
