McCulloh and Catherine Burson who may also be a brother and sister. Also named are slaves Pompy, Amos, Peter, Dolley, Mercker, and Squire. No wife or children are mentioned. Just happed to be looking through some old copies of the "Genealogical Gazette" published by the Southwest Georgia Genealogical Society, Inc., Albany, GA Feb. 1993 edition and found the following:
Early County, Georgia Will Book 1 1822-1839 Abstracted by Brenda W. Bush.
Anthony McCulloh Page 14-15
Will, Henry Co, Alabama. His mother: a certain fraction of land lying in Early Co., GA, No. 396, where she now lives on a ten acre lot on NW corner of Lot No. 362 in the 5th Dist of Early. Also, leaves mother, negroes, Amos, Peter, and Dolley. To sister: Mahalia McCulloh, a negro named Pompy and an eighth section of land in Township 8, Range 27, Henry Co., Al.
To Catherine Burson, a negro boy named Mercker.
To Joseph P. McCulloh a negro boy named Squire.
Rest of estate to be divided between his brothers, John McCulloh, Bryan McCulloh, Leonard P. McCulloh, Augustus C. McCulloh, & sister, Eliza B. McCulloh.
