Hunt, John4/15/1853A John Hunt was awarded 80 acres of land in Henry County for his service as a private in Captain Howard's Company, Georgia Militia during the War of 1812. He assigned the land to Thomas Chambers.Bureau of Land Management, General Land Office Records
