This is a mystery since John Hodges' wife recorded in his will was Sarah. Were there two John Hodges? Was Ellendes Brown also called Sarah?

Hodges, John 2/20/1826 Deceased. On February 20, 1826, Sarah Hodges and Jacob Anderson, co-administrators of the estate of John Hodges (deceased), requested the will of John Hodges (deceased) be probated. Henry County, Alabama Orphans Court Record Book C, page 398.
Hodges, , John 3/12/1826 Deceased. On March 12, 1826, Jacob Anderson was appointed sole administrator of the estate of John Hodges (deceased) when the widow objected to the provisions for her in the will and refused to act as co-administrator. Also, William Mathews, James Hutcheson, William Brown, Ransom Martin, and Robert Higdon were appointed appraisers of the estate. David Caldwell, Judge of the County Court, presided. Hodges, John 5/8/1826 Deceased. An appraisal of the estate of John Hodges (deceased) was submitted to D. Caldwell, Judge of the County Court, on May 8, 1826 by the executor of the estate Jacob Anderson. The appraisers of the estate were: William Mathews, James Hutcheson, Wm. Brown, Rob.
