Cawthon, William Not Dated Married Sarah Smith daughter of Simon Smith; he was a Universalist minister, brother of Josiah Dabney Cawthon, established steamboat line with Richard “Dick” Knight, cattleman with free range cattle from Barbour County to St. Andrews Bay, Florida, had large cattle drives to Pensacola, Florida and brought back bags of gold as pay, later moved to Walton County, Florida in 1838.
